Over the past few weeks, I have been fortunate enough to work with a wonderful hotel in Brighton - www.seaspraybrighton.co.uk

Now, they won't mind me saying this but their website does not do justice to this award-winning boutique hotel. In the medium and long term, this won't be a concern as I am working with them and their web designer www.mark-design.co.uk to create a wonderful web 2.0 compliant one with bells and whistles on.

But in the short term, they still had a website which was not up to the job and did not reflect their brand. Not a problem though - by re-writing the home page, adding links to social media and a blog, we've helped turn it into something entirely different.

The results - July/August 2010 compared to the same period July/August 2009:

  • 38% increase in traffic
  • 24% increase in page views
  • Lower bounce rate
  • Better spread of pages being viewed

And that's with the existing site. I can't wait to see how this improves once we launch the new website later on this year.

So, fusion marketing really does work!
